Arrows on the eyelids are always in fashion, appropriate in evening and daytime makeup. We tellwhat shape and width will add expressiveness to the look, depending on the shape of the eyes. Read and bring to life!
The main rule is to apply a primer to the upper eyelid before you start drawing the arrows, it will prolong the durability of your eye makeup. To accentuate your eyes, be sure to apply a lighter shade of eyeshadow under your brows and around the inner corner of your eyes.
1. Almond-shaped eyes
The easiest way to achieve an open gaze is to gradually thicken the arrow from the middle of the eyelid to the outer corner of the eye, which will create symmetry.
2. Hanging upper eyelid and drooping corners of the eyes
Your ideal arrows are wide, but with shadows, adjust the eyelid: emphasize the inner corners with light shadows, but the outer corners with dark ones.
3. Narrow eyes
Owners of the Mongoloid-shaped eyes need to draw graphic arrows, start thickening from the middle of the upper eyelid and end with a short tail. Line up the lower lash line with a white pencil and apply two coats of mascara on the upper lashes and one layer on the lower ones. This is the easiest way to make your eyes wider.
4. Wide-set eyes
Your main task is to simply draw a straight arrow and give it symmetry with shadows: the outer corner is light shadows, the inner corner is dark. It's that simple!
5. Large or round eyes
Draw regular arrows along the lash edge, as you used to do with your eyeliner, just follow the thickness of the line (it should be thin!) And draw out a long ponytail. Remember: wide and colored arrows always enlarge the eyes.
6. Small eyes
The arrows on the eyelids are exactly what the makeup artist ordered. Feel free to draw a straight line with a black liner and do not forget to draw the lower lash line with a white pencil.
