Even the most expensive manicure done in a good salon will deteriorate sooner or later: the varnish will peel off, the color will fade, the nails will grow, etc. Not to mention the short-lived home manicure. However, there are simple rules with which the life of a manicure can be significantly increased.
Treat your hands before manicure
Routine nail hygiene will allow the manicure to stay intact for longer. Grease, dirt and moisture are the main pests. Before painting your nails with varnish, wet a cotton pad with nail polish remover and rub your nails, make a warm hand bath. Let the skin and nail plates dry thoroughly. Thus, all microscopic particles of dust and grease will be removed from the surface of the nails.
Polish your nails
Before applying the coating, be sure to polish your nails with a special fine-grained file. With its help, the surface of the nail becomes perfectly smooth, microcracks are removed. In this regard, the varnish lays down much smoother and lasts longer.
Use the base
Be sure to use a colorless base for your manicure. The varnish adheres better to the base than to an unprepared nail. The base for manicure will be enough for you for a long time. It will cost much less than a new manicure every 3-4 days.
Polish your nails evenly
An uneven layer of varnish peels off the nail faster. Don't try to paint your nails thick. Better to make 3-4 thin layers, letting each dry properly. That is why you should choose a liquid texture of varnishes or gel varnishes, which greatly facilitates application. Such a manicure will look much more attractive than a coating with an uneven thick layer of varnish.
Choose varnishes with which the manicure looks well-groomed for a long time
- a) In the first place is polish with glitter - it lasts longer on the nails. Although shiny particles with an admixture of metal then require additional time to remove the varnish, but with their help, the manicure is more durable.
- b) French design is the perfect solution, manicure keeps a fresh look longer,
- c) Nude shades from beige to pastel pink - with laconic shades you can go through much longer.
Use a fixer
An ordinary transparent varnish or base for a manicure may well cope with this task. It will take a little time for this, but the manicure will last longer, there will be no breakages and chips.
Let the varnish dry thoroughly.
It will take 45 minutes to achieve the best result. If you don't have that much time, dip your nails in cold water. This will save you 15-20 minutes.
